Congratulations to all of the Spring Valley High School band students who auditioned for Region Band on Saturday, January 7 and those who attended the call-back audition on Saturday, January 21.

CONGRATULATIONS SV BANDS!
- Spring Valley Bands earned their 6th consecutive Outstanding Performance Award from the SCBDA
- Symphonic and Concert Band earned Superior Ratings at the SCBDA State Concert Festival in 2011
- 6 Students made All-State Band, 29 students made region band, 1 student made All-State Jazz Band, 1 student made All-State Orchestra, and 3 students made the BOA National Honor Band in 2011
- The Symphonic Band was a featured performance group at USC Band Clinic in Feb. 2011
- The Symphonic Band had a great experience recording sound tracks at Disney World Studios in Orlando in May 2011
- Last year's senior class earned over $4,000,000 in scholarship money!
The Spring Valley Band is a comprehensive, performance-based organization that implements pride, leadership, and camraderie through hard work, self-disclipline, and dedicationw hile sharing our innovative experiences and passion for the arts amongst ourselves and with our community. This environment instills a sense of pride, excellence, and belonging to the band family.
