South Carolina Youth Wind Symphony:
JJ Milakovich, Akari Ogawa, Wesley Paulman, and Troy Herrmann were selected to perform with this very prestigious group. This is a high school all-star group formed primarily with students who qualified for All-State Band. The clinic and concert were held May 11-13.

Mimi Harding - 1st Place Clinic Level - one of 18 flute players selected to perform in the National Flute Association Flute choir at the national conference held in Las Vegas.
Band of America National Honor Band:

CONGRATULATIONS SYMPHONIC AND CONCERT BAND MEMBERS!
Symphonic Band: The SV Symphonic Band received straight Superior Ratings from all judges as they performed Grade VI literature at the South Carolina Band Directors Association State Concert Assessment.
Concert Band: The SV Concert Band received an Excellent Rating as they performed Grade III literature at the South Carolina Band Directors Association State Concert Assessment.
Richland 2 Honor Band: The Richland 2 Honor Band performed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. We are very proud of their outstanding performance as it was well received.
The Spring Valley Band is a comprehensive, performance-based organization that implements pride, leadership, and camraderie through hard work, self-disclipline, and dedication while sharing our innovative experiences and passion for the arts amongst ourselves and with our community. This environment instills a sense of pride, excellence, and belonging to the band family.
